This Admonition was featured in a 1641 printing of the Geneva Bible.ย It addresses the matter of the Canon of Scripture in both the Old Testament and the New Testament; and why the Apocryphal books are not Canonical.ย This admonition was one of the outcomes of the Synod of Dort in 1618. This copy was transcribed from the original by J. Wheatley and maintained the format with the wood block headings and artwork. The font type is Baskerville New.
